Ivy Guest House
Fantastic place to stay warmly and welcoming and very friendly staff.
Ok room, needs blackout blind.
Needed to get to sleep early, rise early and room was very light in May even with blind and thin curtains closed.
Nice old house in need of a bit of paint, starting with the handing sign. Ivy has grow a good bit since the site photo was taken.
The room was large and did have nice period features including proper wooden shutters but these seemed to be missing a handle and stuck in place. En suite was tiny toilet and shower room but all worked well.
On main bus route so easy to get to and fro.
Good chip shop near by (opposite BP garrage on next parallel main road to west).
