About the hotel
A grand and elegantly restored Georgian town house, situated on Queens Street. This 12 bedroom guest house mixes exquisite period detail with all the modern convenience and facilities you would expect from an up-market hotel, but at reasonable guest house prices. All our rooms are spacious and offer excellent en- suite facilities, LCD TVs, toiletries, and a selection of teas, coffees and Scottish shortbread.
Located in the Edinburgh New Town, a UNESCO world heritage site, Queens Guest House overlooks Queen Street Gardens. These private gardens are some of central Edinburgh's most secluded spots, and the place where Robert Louis Stevenson was inspired to write Treasure Island. Upon request, we provide guests with exclusive access to these gardens. We ensure our cooked breakfasts are of the highest quality, sourcing the sausages, haggis and black pudding from the renowned butchers, Crombies of Edinburgh.

Room 5 is a noisy room next to the dining room and across from the kitchen.
It also smells of food from cooking in the morning. The room was very clean and a nice size. This is also an accessible room for wheelchair users. I just wish the rooms where more sound proof as you can hear people above you and as you are by the front door and stair can hear everyone coming and going. Luckily we didn't spend much time in the room as we were exploring the city.
