My Edinburgh Easter getaway.
There is always the chance that when you book somewhere to stay, you can end up terribly disappointed, this has happened before in Edinburgh, but not this time.
Both my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Firstly, the room. Maybe a little small, but with bed, TV bathroom and tea / coffee, exceptionally clean, warm, comfy bed; excellent. It was called a "petite" room, so I should have got some indication from that. But, what more do you want. The accommodation in general, again excellent, clean throughout, welcoming and warm. The breakfast was very nice, I had a veggie option and my other half porridge, done the way the English like it!. But you can have the full works if you fancy. Lots of toast, tea and cereals so you could really fill up for the day. Parking was also excellent. If I go away, I like somewhere to be able to keep an eye on my car, and there is adequate parking. The owners were very pleasant, happy to pass the time of day and have a chat which is always nice. The other convenient thing is that there is a bus stop right outside with buses every 10 mins or so right into the city. If you are thinking of going to the capital, stay here. If my experience is anything to go by, you will have an enjoyable stay, with pleasant people in great accommodation.
