Could have been better with attention to a few details

The best thing about this apartment is its location.

It is a bit intimidating as the stairwell is concrete,

dark and not appealing. It was particularly hazardous when we left early in the morning and the lighting was so poor. The apartment itself was clean apart from some scuff marks on the walls and the handle was falling off our bedroom door , a screwdriver would have fixed this in no time. We did text the owners about this on arrival as there was notices proclaiming that if we didn't wash the dishes etc and leave the apartment clean that we could face additional charges of 15 pounds an hour. I found this quite intimidating as I would always respect property etc. The Apartment could do with painting and we didn't sleep very well due to the noise outside. The windows were very old and we might as well have joined the revellers on the street, the noise was so loud, so I suggest that the windows are replaced. The other problem was the toilet, We had to get basins of water to flush the toilet as the cistern would not flush properly as there was very little water in the cistern. It is on the sixth floor so it is not for the faint hearted. Overall, The location is good and with a few repairs and new windows this could be a good place to stay. Patrick & Patricia Cummins
