Exceptional food in an amazing setting
Although the dungeon restaurant proved a little uncomfortable (too warm and sat next to a rather pungent bunch of out of date flowers) the staff although occasionally inefficient were charming and the food was exceptional.
The courses were interesting, well balanced and simply a treat from the first to the last mouthful. Top marks to the chef and thanks to the rest of the staff ( forgiven for their occasional inefficiencies due to the large Wedding taking place)
We decided to stay somewhere special near Edinburgh and we were not disappointed.
We stayed in room 4 which was located in the big tower. We cannot fault the accommodation it certainly had that feel of days gone by, which was what we was looking for. I would very highly recommend a stay at Dalhousie Castle!
