Nice but not outstanding
It is a nice hotel but could do with a lick of paint and a makeover.
I don't feel it is worth the money, but assume it is the price it is because it is near London. I did like the lodge feel and the hotel had everything you would need, though the hairdryer didn't work. Nice stay but not worth what we paid.
Stayed only one night for Wembly event.
Room and bathroom were small but adequate. Towels and bed linen fresh and clean. Great breakfast. Only 7 minute walk for tube into Central London. Nice quiet location, would definitely stay again.
Good 3 star hotel
The rooms were what you would expect for £79 a night but they were clean and the bed was comfortable.
They had a nice little bar in the hotel and the breakfast was really good. On the whole good value for money.
Excellent small hotel
Tudor Lodge is a very old building which can create its own issues.
However, rooms are of good quality and not overly noisy; service is efficient and friendly. Breakfast is self-service but very good quality; no other meals are available. Overall value for money is excellent. There are numerous places to eat within 5 minutes walk and Eastcote underground station is less than 10 minutes away. Several bus routes are also close by and make Tudor Lodge a very good base for getting into London and elsewhere, without necessarily driving. I've stayed before and will almost certainly stay again.
We enjoyed our stay
Excellent breakfast service with good choice of hot and cold buffet. Only had to ask if you wanted something that was not there and the staff sorted it. We had room 31 which was a family room for our 4 nights which had plenty of space and which we found very comfortable. Housekeeping was very good with clean towels daily. Toiletries in the bathroom and the shower was very good. The room and bathroom was a little tired but clean. The bed gave a good nights sleep. Plenty of storage space. There was building work going on but the workmen were friendly and access to the breakfast room from the bedrooms in the annexe should be better once the work complete. We would stay again and did I mention that the staff were very good!
Stayed for two nights and overall pleased with our stay.staff were friendly and helpful.nice little bar and outside areas.bed was a small double which didn't really make for a great nights sleep!!!!.
I put our suit carrier on top of the wardrobe to get it out of the way, but when I got it down it was covered in thick dust so housekeeping could be improved.would use again though.
Good, basic accomodation.
We stayed here as we were attending an event at Wembley (as were a lot of people) and it is withing easy walking distance of Eastcote underground and the Motroplitan line.
Staff were friendly but looking stressed and over worked. We stayed in the annex and I can't give them top marks as all the windows were grubby and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly prior to our stay. I agree with an early reviewer who said that the decor is tired and it would beneit from sprucing up. However, the sheets were clean and it was tidy, which is the main thing. Breakfast was good and parking space available.
The In's and Out's of The Tudor Lodge.
As indicated the interior of Tudor Lodge was as allways excellent (we have stayed here six times) but the exterior was a different story.
The gardens were full of litter, The Gardener was leaning on a brush listening to a radio instead of clearing the litter all around him.
Nice place to stay in Suburbia
This hotel offers good value for the area.
It is well placed for travel and has a good size car park. The main building is genuine Tudor - actually there are a lot of old buildings in this area, a surprise for a London suburb. However, we had a room in the annex, which is more like a Travelodge or similar, but a nice enough room anyway, except we had no shaver socket in our bathroom. No dinner available, and the bar is not heavily patronised, but the self-service breakfast was good. There are plenty of places to eat within a 2 mile radius, some within walking distance.
Tudor Lodge Hotel
The room was clean & comfortable.
Ideal for our stay. The staff were helpful. The only downside was that the tv didn't work very well, but we were offered another room. Also please note you do have to pay for wifi in your room, although its free in the bar & breakfast room.
