Best hotel i have ever been to
I would highly recommend this hotel it is amazing! the staff couldnt do more to help you, the room serivce was amazing, the free shuttle service to clapham common and clapham junction made being out of zone 1 no problem at all and our shuttle driver was the funnist man i've ever met. I didnt have one issue at this hotel other then i wish i could of stayed longer. I read some reviews about small bedrooms? I stayed in superior double room the 2nd out of 5 room options and the room was so spacious much bigger then well known huge chain 5star hotels that i have not only stayed in but worked in at a younger age. There was a film being done at the time of stay as well as some minor finishing work being done to the hotel and it did not interupt our stay at all it was actually so peaceful and quiet we felt like we were the only ones there. Also when my birthday was mentioned i found both a birthday card and hotel made chocolates in my room to say Happy Birthday. The food at the restaurant is to die for i recommend the suffolk chicken mmm mmmm! The view of the Thames even in a partial view room was amazing, The bathrooms are huge and sparkling new , the beds are massive and super comfy and i love that you also have a sitting area. The modern technology with the swipe card to oepn doors and the tv control of the lighting and air con was fantastic! I would say i feel this hotel is defintely more for either business persons or couples rather then familys it is a gorgeous hotel. I will defintely be using this hotel for every stay whenever i visit London and would now not even think about going elsewhere

Fabulous location with friendly staff and an amazing room
From the friendly staff on arrival and throughout our stay to the quality of the room including the fantastic bathroom the experience was a memorable one. Secure car parking at the hotel although not included in the room cost is good value for money when you consider other London hotels. The free shuttle service to the nearby Station was most welcome. A very enjoyable weekend made even more special by the reception staff, many thanks.

Great Hotel - Too far from Train / Tube
The hotel was well presented and the room was clean and fresh (as you would expect from a 5*. The usual facilities with a great double aspect room with floor to ceiling windows. Staff were polite and freindly, I would recommend this hotel but would think twice about returning myself as a little too far from the underground. A shuttle car was put on free to ferry you back & forth but can be booked up and runs every half an hour so you have to plan ahead. The breakfast was lovely and plenty of it.

Great Hotel - Terrible Restaurant
The Hotel is a little disconnected from London Transport (although they do offer a free shuttle from and to clapham junction). Its not 5 star but a good 4 star with good quality of fittings and furnishings with a spa / gym etc on tap. The restaurant the Banyan is however truly awful (particularly in terms of service) we left after no main meals after waiting 1hr and 50mins (and it wasn't particularly busy). It was such a shame as the restaurant has a great view. The owner even walked the floor but seemed to be completely oblivious to the quality of his waiting staff.... if he wants a 5* experience he should hire 5* staff....
