A little bit of Dubai on an industrial estate
Hotel includes a gym, so there are a lot of white Range Rover Evoques and black window Audis and their predictable passengers hanging around. TV in room didn't work, bedside light bulb flickered then died, switch cover had fallen off and the shade was loose. Cleaning cloth left in bathroom. Shower head leaking. Felt like nobody had inspected the room. Restaurant produced pasta that was the smallest portion I have ever witnessed, and utterly tasteless. Complained at desk but got a robotic 'thank you for informing us' reply. Bar staff turned off the football commentary and put on their preferred techno soundtrack. Dreadful hotel.

Hotel for Wembley
Used the hotel as were heading off to Wembley to watch the football and decided to stay outside of the wembley / London area.
Location was ideal as just off the motorway and onle a few minutes from Stanmore train station - just 4 stops from Wembly park.
Hotel facillities were excellent for us all, clean and comfortable room, use of all facillities including gym and pool and the food at the restaurant was very nice.

very busy place full of life..... very modern
very modern complex, we didn't manage to try the leisure facilities but wish we had. staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and more than adequate. Breakfast was well organised and good quality. (get there early!)
Only negative point was the charge for dogs. £30 for 2 little dogs for one night in one room who slept in their own cage. They didn't make a mess, extra vaccum of the room would all of been needed from hotel staff.

Village Elstree
Hotel a bit tired - very busy certainly. Too many things in room were not checked (broken seal on shower meant water everywhere). Room was dark and noisy from M1. Really hard to get hold of more than 1 bag of English Breakfast tea - why?????? Staff tried to help.
