Would never stay here again...
The room was clean as expected... The room was up 2 floors and the lift was out of service... That was fine for us, but others would have trouble for sure... The room was noisy overnight due to street noise from outside - including the beer garden of a nearby pub and loud noises from traffic... This was due to the windows not being double-glazed... The double bed was up against the corner of the room, so was only accessible from one side... All in all not a very good experience,...

Sanctuary for the Weary Traveller
My partner and I stayed at this hotel overnight on a business trip, looking at property acquisitions in the local area. My partner had booked the hotel, and I only knew the price (we always book on laterooms, and hence get great value for money) but even I was amazed at the quality of the room. We had all the usual hotel facilities, and in addition, a lovely kitchenette, full of accessories. The staff were friendly but not chatty, the room was spacious and clean. The only two things to be wary of, were that the staircase in our room was somewhat perilous, and the windows were single-glazed and so we could hear traffic throughout the night. Nonetheless, we got a good nights sleep and left confident that we will be visiting this hotel again when we next come to the area.
