We would like to welcome you to Homestay Hotel. We are located just a minute walk from Hounslow Central underground station and 100 metres from the town centre. This 3 star boutique hotel combines tradition with modern comfort.
Within a period terrace it has been fitted to the highest standard, with carefully chosen furnishings and artwork to provide a luxurious residential feel and the intimate charm of an elegant hotel. Take advantage of our daily breakfast service with the choice of a Full English Breakfast or a Continental Breakfast with freshly baked croissants, a selection of cereals, juices, cheeses, and cold meats. You can relax and unwind in the 2b Lounge Bar on the Lower Ground Floor, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of London. In this serene and minimalist decor enjoy a diverse and innovative drinks list, fine whiskies and champagne. Our appealing arranged rooms feature rich decor and marble bathrooms with bespoke toiletries. They are fully equipped with flat screen LED TV's, satellite channels, free Wi-Fi and complimentary tea and coffee. Our rooms are beautifully appointed to make your stay comfortable. I paid for 3 rooms x 2 nights in total.
One room was booked with breakfast. Two rooms were room only. We could decide at the time of stay if we would have breakfast or not. They charged my card for two nights parking and full English breakfasts at 4am. This was unknown to me and an overcharge for full breakfasts not had and a charge for two nights parking but it should have been one night as the care was parked on the road on the second night. On departure at 11am they did not tell us they had taken payment from my card at 4am, and took payment again, but for what we had which was cheaper continental breakfasts and we had one night parking at £10. A couple of weeks later I saw my credit card had been charged again at Homestay hotel. I phoned to let them know. The manager was fighting to keep as much money as he could from the 4am charge. He worked it out that the one night car parking charge of £10 had not been taken at the 11am card payment. He also said my brother and his wife had not paid for their breakfast, which was a lie. My brother paid on arrival. He also bought a drink and they did not give him his change from £20. My brother mentioned it and the staff said they couldn't give change you have to wait for the manager to come in. The manager said he would return £60 to my card (not £80 taken at 4am). He said I had signed something to say he could take up to £200 from my account for any extras. I did not know I had signed anything, they didn't tell me and a copy was not given to me I thought I was signing our arrival (which was 2.30am) and wasn't told anything about authorising £200. He was arguing for over half an hour on the phone and I got so tired of this and his lies I just accepted the return of £60. He got the ten pounds for the car parking which had not been added to the 11am payment, but stole the extra £10 from me and promised me a complimentary bottle of wine next time we stay. We won't be staying again and I WARN you to be careful with your credit card and check your receipt carefully to ensure you pay for what you have had. Also the bed rooms are very cramped, the shower is so hot you get burned and the toilet doesn't flush easily. On the positive side, apart from the manager, the staff were friendly.
