Room ok, but warning to business travellers
Very small rooms with no desk or chair.
I've read other reviews, so before the management try to defend themselves...the rooms are adequate, clean and cheap, beds are OK, good firm mattress - fact.
However, the "desk" is a drop down plinth at the end of the bed which just houses a sheet of A4 paper. No chairs, no tea or coffee making facilities, no trouser press, no wardrobe, just hangers in front of the mirror and everything is extra (TV, internet, hair dryer etc etc...thankfully those are included in the laterooms price!).
Internet is painfully slow. I asked for a room with a desk and was told all rooms are the same - so this isn't an isolated case!
Rude staff and tiny rooms,
I arrived at 2030 after a long day at work to check in when the receptionist immediately I.d.me and as I didnt have a driving licence on me got very difficult.
Once I showed her my booking email from laterooms she proceeded tor moan to her colleague about laterooms and that they shouldn't book rooms with them. All I wanted to do was get into my room and out for dinner rather than be subject to moan that didn't concern me. Made me feel very unwelcome. A smile would have been nice. when I finally got the key, the room was so small you couldn't wheel a suitcase around the bed.
