About the hotel

If you want to stay in the centre of London then you cannot beat our selection of four luxury apartment style hotel rooms. They are within easy walking distance of city centre underground stations and taxi ranks. The apartments are located above a trendy urban‐ite bar and boast private kitchens, en‐suite bathrooms and a location that simply cannot be beaten.

When you stay here you are less than twenty minutes from anywhere in Zone One. The apartments are close to a good selection of attractions such as the London Transport Museum where, among other things, you can help generate a vision of urban living fifty years from now. The Covent Garden Markets are also a must ‐ especially The Apple Market, which recruits the best UK craft producers. Stall holders purvey products made exclusively in Britain and you can shop for ceramics, jewelery, gifts and more, with time in between to enjoy the licensed entertainers, pulling in the crowds on the cobbles.

Worth a try if you are by yourself

When I arrived, I went straight to the bar on ground level to check in.

The barman was very nice, who then took me to the room. Luckily I was facing the back, as I believe the noise facing the front would have been a nightmare. The room was ok, if not a little dated. The bed needs replacing along with the tired sheets. The room was very clean, but it did have a strange smell about it, and I think this must have come from the Bar Kitchen below. My bathroom was outside of the room, and I'm still not sure if this was just mine or I shared with the other room on my level?. Anyway, the towels were big, and of good quality. Would I stay there again... Only if I faced the back, but it wouldnt be my first choice sadly. However you couldn't get closer to Covent Garden if you tried.

theatre trip

Smack bang in the middle of Covent Garden and within walking distance to the local theatres, as they already stated.

The room was clean, nicely decorated and cosy. There are all the homely facilities you would need to be self contained, and a cooker if you didn't want to eat out. We enjoyed a great breakfast there. I was really impressed with the costs of drinks and food in the local area as I expected inflated prices. We arrived at Paddington station from Cardiff and it cost us £24 in a taxi to get to the hotel each way, being quoted half the price. Take the tube!!
