About the hotel

With gourmet food of the very highest quality and four luxurious bedrooms that really must be seen to be believed The Kinmel Arms is a real jewel in the North Wales coastline, perfect for romantic getaways, weekend breaks and businessmen working in the area. Home The AA and Visit Wales have once again awarded us with a "5 Star Accommodation" rating, Top 50 Pub Waitrose Good Food Guide 2015, The Best Kept secret award Lonely Planet 2015, Camara Real Ale winners Hardens UK Restaurants in association with Remy Martin fine Champagne Cognac said of The Kinmel Arms" one of the best places to eat in North Wales" Having both eaten at The Kinmel Arms since childhood we conjured an image of what we would like it to be. After travelling widely in Britain, Europe and indeed the world, sampling great food and hospitality we wished we could bring together our best experiences and share them much closer to home.

We are still searching for new ideas and tastes for your delight! On February 14th 2002 (a memorable romantic occasion!) we purchased The Kinmel Arms and redesigned the interior. We gave up our respective jobs in business management and teaching to transform our future and our new home. We and our staff look forward to welcoming you all to The Kinmel Arms, whether for a quick drink, a meal or an overnight stay.

Lovely room and restaurant!

Stayed just for one night after climbing Snowdon.

Room was lovely and spacious, and spotless. We ate in the restaurant choosing the more 'adventurous' dishes on offer, although a tad on the pricey side the food was lovely and well worth the money. Service was friendly and welcoming and the owners had plenty of time to chat and made us feel very welcome. Good continental breakfast which was left in our fridge as we dined. Would return!

Superb food with beautiful rooms

We first discovered this restaurant with rooms nearly ten years ago after stopping off for lunch.

The owner Tim showed us the totally unique high quality accommodation.. We have stayed ther regularly ever since. The food and wine are excellent and everything is totally relaxed. It's one of our favourite places!
