A nice budget spa break
We enjoyed a one night stay.
Our room was clean and warm. The spa was average. There is a sauna and a steam room which were enjoyable. The pool was pleasant for swimming and the jacuzzi was nice. No complaints from us. we recommend the Prosecco but the bar food was nothing special
I stay at this hotel because it is near to where my friends and family live and each time I come I become more disenchanted.
The foyer, bar area, breakfast room and all the other communal areas are lovely but when you get to your room which you have paid £95 for one night you realize that this is definitely not the Ritz. The room is clean, heating is good but all you can say is it is basic, great for the business traveller whose company is paying the bill but not impressive as a romantic retreat, family holiday or any other break. The food was not impressive for breakfast but the waitresses were charming and attentive and actually made you feel wanted. I am definitely going to try and find an alternative more realistically priced hotel next time.
