Good service and very nice staff.
Evening meal/breakfast of good quality and reasonably priced. Room was alittle tired and needed cleaning around the windows, but nice comfy bed, lots of hot water and even though at the front of the hotel facing the road we were not woken with any traffic noise and the hotel itself was quiet. Had a good stay and would return.
A very peaceful and rest couple of nights, the room was interesting, sloping floors etc but very comfortable.
The house was also interesting , to be living in such a historic place was a great experience. The bar/ restaurant was very clean, as was the whole house and it was greatto see a good group of local people in. The outdoor terrace and garden was excellent and we enjoyed the sunsets to be followed by two excellent and tastey evening meals, ate far too much but all good. Service and the attitude of staff was at all times wonderful and great to be able to forget the car and be able to wander straight out onto an interesting street and lively little town. Thanks very much to all concerned. A good break.
