We spent one night at Southcroft.
We were met with a warm and friendly reception and given tea and cake on arrival. Room and facilities clean and comfortable and awoke to the smell of bread baking for our breakfast. Food was excellent and well presented. Our only regret was that we were not able to stay for longer.
A really lovely night away!
We were greeted with coffee and cake on our arrival which was a nice touch.
Our room was clean and quiet and the bed comfy. Tea and coffee making facilities include biscuits - another thoughtful touch. The breakfast was good and offers a vegetarian option on the full English. We were made to feel very welcome and would definitely go back. The location is minutes from the beach and within walking distance of the pier, city centre, plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The bar on the pier (if quiet) is an excellent place to view the sunset. We ate at Pasha's – a very reasonable Turkish restaurant. Beachy head is an hour's gorgeous walk and a fantastic way to spend the morning.
