Enjoyable stay

We arrived too late to find a parking space in either of the Hotels car park but parking is plentiful outside the hotel.

Its pay by meter and applies 8am to 6pm, we were warned the wardens are around early and we saw someone being ticketed at 815am. The hotel is lovely and all the staff we met were very professional and welcoming. We used the leisure facilities and this was a great asset to have. There were 2 bars but only one was open which was a shame because the other bar just past reception looked to offer more comfortable seating. That's not a complaint, just an observation.

We really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The room itself was okay.......... would have hoped for a better view (part of the yard?) but you get what you pay for. Thought we had got a good deal so we were happy..... would we return. Yes definitely. My tip would be to avoid ground floor rooms if possible because the floorboards are really creaky and there is a lot of people walking through.
