Beautifully furnished hotel
The hotel is conveniently located 200 yards off the A446 and 2 miles from J9 of the M42.
From the outside it is a large old house set amongst lots of trees. The standard bedroom however, came as a pleasant surprise with its modern designer décor, furnishings and lighting. The room was spacious with two colourful richly upholstered chairs and a very comfortable bed. The brightly light bathroom had a walk-in shower and quality fittings.
The restaurant serves a varied menu of fine dining at £24.95 for 2 courses or £29.95 for 3 courses in an attractive grand house setting. The food and service could not be faulted. The food in the bar was equally good and reasonably priced. The continental buffet selection for breakfast was a little limited but the cooked made to order options were of high quality. Having stayed at numerous hotels in the region this one is definitely my favourite and offers great value for money.
