100% would recommend it to a friend
We would definitely recommend this accommodation, we were welcomed on our arrival and we were very impressed with the room and the food.
It is within 10 mins walking from the city centre so you don't have to move your car which is a big bonus in York.
Lovely b&b, great for single night stay
A great find for people who want to visit York but only stay for one night - so many guest houses will only accept bookings for a minimum of 2 nights at the weekend.
Lovely building, quite a hike from the railway station when we first arrived, but not bad at all going as far as the centre where we spent most of our time. We had the attic room at the front, with a lovely view towards the Minster, and squirrels in the trees over the road. There were only the 2 of us but there was a fold out bed for a child available. Nice big bathroom and powerful shower. Breakfast was very tasty. The proprietors were welcoming enough, but not particularly chatty.
