A couple of pointers for anyone disabled
A very enjoyable stay with good quality rooms, food that was good value and friendly staff.
They were extremely responsive when I needed an extension lead to set up some medical equipment and they put in an additional permanent socket the next day which was a fast response.
We were making use of a room with disabled access as my father is in a wheelchair. The bathroom was a good size with the right adaptations. The bedroom was slightly tight for manoeuvring but manageable. There is no disabled parking near to the room which would be a problem if the driver is disabled. The drive between the lodge and the club is bumpy and there is not much lighting at night so my mother did struggle with that as she is unsteady on her feet. These were minor points for us though and I have rated the stay highly
Great hotel with lots of facilities
Wanted to book a one night spa break and the Lodge ticked all the boxes.
The hotel is in a quiet location, but still close to the main road and Bournemouth.
Accommodation at the Lodge was very nice. Big room with a large bathroom. There was a sofa, TV and a kettle.
The main reason we booked was because of the swimming facilities and were not disappointed. Nice pool for swimming, and a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi for relaxing. There is also a gym, treatment room. Towels are provided for guests to use whilst swimming if needed.
The golf course looked great and very well maintained from what I saw of it. Unfortunately I didn't have my clubs with me so couldn't have a round, maybe next time.
We didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good with plenty of choice. Overall our stay at the Lodge was excellent and would definitely stay again and recommend
