Bit noisy

The staff were brilliant and the hotel has great facilities so would stay there again.

There were a couple of down sides.... the room was in need of updating - we stayed in one of the courtyard rooms and it had definitely seen better days. It was also very noisy - the fountain was on all night the first night and the cleaners arriving in the morning are not considerate, slamming doors, dragging trolleys over the flag stones in the court yard, hovering right outside our room.

Great Stay, Fab Food, Exceptional Customer Service

Loved our one night Spa Reviver Stay, wonderfully relaxing.

Dinner in the restaurant was first class and all staff in restaurant and bar were extremely polite, friendly and welcoming.

Room was fine, very large superior room, however felt slightly basic, not as luxurious as I would have liked e.g there were no drawers to put things in but everything else was fine just seemed to lack the wow factor.

The only really negative comment I can make is that the spa was quite busy as people are members there as well as people who were booked in the hotel. This meant that there was a lack of loungers/beds round the pool area and in the tranquility room it was particularly busy as after my wonderful massage I couldn't get a seat in there and had to wait outside for my partner. The comment from the "lady" (I use that term loosely!!!) member who was sat in the sauna with her daughters that she hated the "holidaymakers" who used the facilities didn't go down too well with myself and my partner neither. Felt like there was a bit of "them and us" situation going on, not what you expect when you pay for a special treat.
