Although we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel I believe that a review of wheelchair access at ground level would be beneficial.
Take the time to actually assess your routes and the inclines of the ramps. You don't have much room to manoeuvre your way in when accessing the main building and if you aren't going to change the corridor layout, a sign showing wheelchair route would be nice, as going all the way to the entrance to be met by stairs is very frustrating and having to put on a coat because it's raining and you wish to gain entrance to the dining area is equally so.
It was my partner's birthday and we had asked for a nice room and were given the hotel's honeymoon room so a big thank you for that.
All the staff were friendly and, although the hotel does not provide dinners, the bar/light meals menu eaten in the dining room was fine. All in all a value for money experience.
