The room that my family and I stayed in wasn't really value for money.
The amount we paid the cleanliness of the room could of been better. The carpet was dirty with stains and the bathroom shower curtain had marks with residue of dried up bath soap from previous customers. The sheets on the main double bed were stained at the rear of the bed and kettle was extremely dirty. The hotel itself wasn't too bad it was just those issues with our room that brought down the experience of staying in Travelodge. If issues were rectified then I would stay in this hotel again.
Pretty Good Hotel 4/5
We have stayed at this hotel twice now and have no real complaints.
We are a young couple who went to visit friends and the first time we stayed we were given a huge disabled room (not that we realised this at the time). The room was of a great size for wheelchair users, I think maybe two wheelchair users could share this room with ease if need be (Giant bathroom). This time we had a normal room and the only complaint we could have is that the room has been designed awkwardly because the bathroom was a bit small for two people and the bed was placed behind the bathroom, so with your back to the door you couldn't really see the bed (we thought the room would feel bigger and more practical had the furniture moved) BUT it was perfectly fine for our holiday and that's us being fussy and just our opinion. :) Despite this the staff were friendly and efficient at check in though on our second trip we were directly opposite a staff room of sorts(?) for the cleaners and they were a bit noisy when coming and going (their door opening made ours sound like they were trying to come in our door). But other than that both stays were very clean and hassle-free. Thank you Travelodge. :)
