Edham House is a beautiful building, I believe it has recently changed hands and the new owners are looking to spend to improve it.
It does need a lot of money spending on it, the stone work outside due to the age of the property has disintegrated, inside the original decor is fantastic. Only had breakfast there which was excellent. We had a river view which was lovely and the bed was the most comfortable one we have ever slept in.
Our Borders Adventure
We booked into the Ednam house hotel through laterooms.com.
We had a few things we wanted to do and see in the borders. Ednam house was a lovely base with a beautiful garden and a spectacular view of the river Tweed and Floors castle. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good and loads of choice. Our room was period and had the comfiest bed we've slept in. Unfortunately we ran out of time. We would recommend Ednam house to anyone. We will go back.
