The Anchor Hotel
great hotel with fabulous views - very relaxing
Enjoyable and relaxing hotel with a super view.!
A lovely, comfortable, friendly hotel/pub in a super setting on the River Urr.
Staff are welcoming and very helpful. The view from our room was beautiful and the room well furnished and functional. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice to fit most tastes. The pub served a good range of food at lunch and during the evening. The chowder was particularly flavoursome. The selection of real ales was a bonus. We travelled with two small dogs and were able to take them into the bar which meant we didn't have to leave them. It was an enjoyable and relaxing place to stay. We will visit again.
