We have stayed in the upstairs apartment a few times and although it is tired & in need of an update, as was this studio, at least it has a nice view & there is a table to eat at.
This room is very, very small, to the point where a 'large framed' person would have difficulty getting near the toilet. There is no room to put anything and the sofa bed is broken as was one of the window blinds and the cooker is very basic. Re-decoration is really in urgent need throughout though and tubs of paint left on the hallway window sill as soon as you walk into the property, is an indication of a real lack of general care. We actually ended up coming home a day early because the room was quite depressing. Although it has to be said that the weather didn't help!
We are sorry that Mr Evans had an unsatisfactory break at the Studio. We are in the process of refurbishing and had hoped to complete it before Christmas. Unfortunately this proved impossible and we are undertaking it now. I am contacting Mr Evans to arrange compensation.
Lovely little apartment
The apartment is in a perfect position, 2 minutes walk from everything.
There isn't any parking but this isn't a problem as the harbour carpark is just down the road at £7 for each 24 hours. The apartment is only small but ideal for a couple and has everything you need. Great for people watching as there are floor to ceiling windows in the front room.. There was slight mould on the bathroom ceiling but this did not make a difference to our stay. Would recommend.
