Hospitality Goes a long way
Due to walking out of my previously booked hotel due to noise and frankly rude reception staff I came to the manor last minute out necessity.
The Lady there was lovely, extremely accommodating, very friendly and made me a glass of orange when I arrived which I thought was really nice of her, she gave me a choice of rooms and allowed me to stay a little longer in the morning after I came off my night shift. I had a sound sleep and the bed was comfortable. It is in my view great for workers who are here on brief visits to Bristol. My only gripe, which was very small was the sausages were fried not grilled, which I personally don't like. Other than that it was a nice little family run place, run by a lovely couple.
i got free wine here!
Family run business and because I spoke her language she cracked a bottle of wine open for me.
