Sometimes it's the little things, the attention to detail that sets a place apart, and this is where The Steading excels.
The rooms are classically understated with all the comfortable touches you would want; very comfy bed, huge shower, lovely toiletries, home made biscuits and filter coffee. The guest lounge is a joy to sit in, fabulous views across the valley and a roaring log burner, such a cosy room to unwind in. Breakfast is sublime, beautifully cooked to order and plenty of fresh fruit and pastries to treat yourself. Sarah Jane, Will and their family are warm and welcoming and a pleasure to talk with, they will offer all kinds of advivce about the local area or are happy just to natter. We plan on returning, and if you don't choose to stay here you are definitely missing out.
