The photos are very misleading they make the hotel look something it isn't.
The guy on reception was more interested in taking our payment for the room. First appearance of the room was that it was very dingey you had to lock the door from the inside to keep it shut. The shower door didn't shut properly. There were tea and coffee making facilities but no spoons were provided, there was only one glass for 2 people. All in all the room was quite shabby and the hotel overall lacked attention. The only good thing was that it was very handy for the arena it was only about a 10 minute walk.
Would book again
Booked The Kingston for a weekend away for my boyfriend and I.
It was only a one night stay so I wanted something local in Leeds. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it was wasn't too far from Leeds city centre and near a few pubs for food and drinks. The room was great value for money and was very clean. The room contained a tea making facilities, clean towels, large TV , 2 mirrors and a clean bathroom. The only downside of it was lack of ventilation in the bathroom and slight bit of noise coming from upstairs bedrooms such as creaky floorboards however they were minor issues. Overall a very nice hotel and would definitely use again!
