Good old style B&B

At first when we arrived at this B&B we were a little disappointed at the old fashioned/cosy/ slightly tatty sort of feel to the place, but actually it was all perfectly nice and clean and comfortable....which, lets face it, is all you really need in a B&B.

The owner was friendly and helpful, our bed was very comfy and our room and bathroom were very clean. As I say, it is very much and old school B&B with old fashioned furnishings and a slightly tired appearance, but we had a pleasant stay and were perfectly happy with our night here. Breakfast was tasty, but again, it all felt a bit old school in that it seemed the produce used, such as the sausages and bread were very cheap and basic rather than the delicious tasty treats you get these days in other more modern B&Bs that we have stayed in. It all tasted fine though and did the job of filling us up for the morning. I was not hugely impressed to have the family dog roaming around the dinning room as we ate, but I am not really a dog person and im sure other guest love that aspect?.

Really pleasant stay with my wife and young children.

Lovely surroundings and nice relaxing atmosphere. Friendly owners who were very helpful. Room was really nice and clean. Breakfast was lovely but some parts were cold and some nice and hot. We would love to stay again, really good value and handy for Westonbirt Arboretum.
