The town of Dunbar is on the North Sea Coast of East Lothian, about 30 miles East of Edinburgh. It has a double harbour, while its broad high street boasts several grand old stone buildings, including the birthplace of John Muir, the explorer and nationalist who created the national park system in the USA. John Muir Country Park is a nature reserve taking in areas of Tyninghame Bay and Belhaven Bay.

Two day stay by couple.

Great view from bay window in room.

Staff very friendly and good breakfast and lunch (did not have dinner). Easy walk into town. Good location for visiting nearby sights and North Berwick.
