We stayed in the Blue room which is large with high ceilings and decorated with some charm.
The double bed was comfortable with very good quality bedding. There was a good ensuite bathroom with a shower. The shower cubicle itself was a little small, but very clean with good pressure and plenty of hot water. The cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented and served in a pretty room overlooking the garden. The hosts were welcoming and friendly but not intrusive. Feckenham is a very attractive village with a church, cricket ground and green square and a couple of good places to eat. It also has a village shop which is run by volunteers and has a range of quality foods, some gift items and a small cafe area with good coffee and cakes, as well as a few magazines and newspapers. The age of many of the buildings, including The Steps, adds to the charm but does mean they were often built before garages. Parking was in a quiet residential street behind the guest house, and we were also offered a spot by the owners garage. This road looked quite busy with cars, so as there was also a good sized free car park behind the village hall only 100 yards or so away we parked there instead and this worked well. We were staying in the area as we were taking part in a great escapes classic car rally and they are just a few miles down the road. The countryside around here was lovely and definitely worth a visit. We very much enjoyed our stay.
