Lovely room, difficult to sleep
The Victoria B&b has a great location (7 minute drive from Richmond high st) nice rooms, good food..
However the only complaint I had was that you could hear everything from the room above on the ground floor including footsteps babies crying etc. This made it difficult to sleep and we were not able to sleep very much because the floorboards were so thin. When we made a complaint to the staff they said this had been mentioned before which meant that it had been reported but they had still done nothing about it. Overall we liked the place but would not recommend it as for the price the lack of sleep ruined it.
Just one night
What a lovely hidden hotel in a nice quiet area of London.
Although i booked a twin room, and when i arrived there was only a double available, i was asked if i wanted another bed made up(which i declined because it was only for one night), i was offered discount off the accommodation and was given free drinks. The room itself was very clean and tidy, and had everything needed. The hotel was very nice boasting a very nice garden with outside cooking and grilling facilities. I would definitely come back again, and next time bring the missus. The breakfast itself was a continental. I usually like a nice fry-up, but this was exceptional, with an array of fresh fruit, cereals, lovely tapas meats, yogurts, a choice of fresh loaves and more, i did not leave feeling hungry, and i have a good appetite. Not a lot more to say really, an all round lovely place!
