Beachy Rise Guest House
Charming owner let down by a very poor shower and creaky uncomfortable beds.
Suzanne is a charming host and you cannot fault the breakfast provided and the cleanliness of the accommodation. However, room 6 on the top floor is a disappointment, the twin beds are uncomfortable and creak loudly as you turnover in bed. The en-suite is minute with very little room to move, the shower door is corroding and the water pressure very weak. You would probably get more pressure holding a watering can above your head. The owner did suggest she was getting in a plumber "yet again" to try to fix the problem As it is, the shower is barely fit for purpose.
Great last minute affordable guesthouse with friendly family hosts.
Lovely view over garden and south downs. Uncomfortable mattresses though you could feel the springs in twin beds. Also room needed brighter lights when getting ready.
