Room with a view

As a regular visitor to this gem in Strathblane, I was eager to see how the latest refurbishment had progressed since my last visit.

The Kirkhouse Inn as ever didn't disappoint. Beautifully and tasteful decor adorns the restaurant and bar area giving a contemporary feel yet thankfully not losing any of that old world charm. As ever an excellent menu, with new dishes, a must for any connoisseur.

My only very slight quibble, is we were in room 16, a beautiful new white gleaming bathroom suite, l wanted a bath, but it was little more than a trickle of water, temperature not great. Same with shower, just a trickle of water, but temperature was fine. I thoroughly recommend this Inn though to anyone, I can assure you a warm friendly welcome always awaits you 😊
