Sleepless Nights

We arrived on a Friday ready for a family wedding on the Saturday.

Our room was clean but fairly basic and despite being beds for 4 only had 2 cups. The bathroom was tired and had a layer of thick black mould around the bath. We headed off to bed about 11 but with a function in full flow immediately below our room there was no sleep...we all expect a bit of late night music at hotel stays but the whole room was vibrating. We called reception at 12'45am and asked to move rooms but there were none available. .the function finished at 1am and finally we had some sleep. Breakfast was fine but every morning the same 3 toasters appeared, only one of which was actually working. On Sunday we came back from a day out looking forward to a drink at the bar only to find everyting closed up..at 9pm. We finally moved into a new room which was quieter and staff were helpful in moving us.

A 2 days stay

I came to Beechlawn hotel with specific study purpose, and i have a little time for my self, but Beechlawn had another story to tell, it's home, that what i felt from the first glance, the atmosphere, corridors, bar, the fabulous back garden, my memories flow back to me, when i am backing my things to leave, i felt like i am leaving a dear friend, and i said to my self, whenever i come to belfast again, there one place belongs to me and waiting, it's a marvelous Beechlawn hotel.
