Needs a lot of T L C
Pleasant stay, wonderful host, away from the noise. Peaceful
I was down for a computer game event at the Norbreck in May, and being unsure of my travel times, I called ahead of time, explained the situation, and everyone at Blue C were more than helpful, accommodating, over and above my expectations, at a very wallet friendly price.
Now, being near to the exhibition hall, though away from the nearest pier, on opposite side from the Pleasure beach, piers, bars and night life ... you are looking at a taxi or ... c'mon its Blackpool TRAM to and from town. Breakfast in the morning set me up for the day, whilst I didn't use the onsite bar, the lounge area and TV was perfect for an evening wind down. I even set up my Virtual Reality unit in the bar lounge for a couple of people to see what the fuss is all about. Thank's Anne for the Kettle lead !!. There are local shops about 10-15 minutes walk away, including a huge Sainsbury's, and large arcade for those pixel blasters !!. your looking at trans from Bispham tram station every 10-15 minutes to the tower. Room was comfortable, I slept like a log after a busy day, and had a sea view. En suite was just the ticket. TV in the room was a nice touch too. There's a true 'homely' feel to the Blue C, and not a Clinical Premier Inn room. Just like visiting relatives, but if you want the hotel chain feel, double the price per night, there are more than enough down the road.
I was happy here, later check out was possible on this occasion, but wasn't taken for granted, call ahead if you have some requirements, the Blue C will do their upmost to help. (Unfortunately other friends along with me were turfed out at 10am in another guest house ... Que smug grin).... Traditional, friendly seaside B&B with great facilities, spacious and affordable over night or a few days. Certainly checking availability on my next trip over.
