Good base for Stonehenge
We were given room1, a good size room with an adequate bathroom.
The problem was that it was hot so we opened the window and were kept awake until 2am by people leaving the pub opposite. We ate in both nights. The food was fine and served quickly. We had the help yourself salad bar the first night and lasagne and fish & chips the second. The lemon tart for dessert was excellent. Breakfast was good.
The room we stayed in was a double room, it was OK.
But there was lots of cob webs, and all the paint seemed to be peeling off both in the room and in the bathroom. We would stay there again, but it would not be our first choice. I felt it was not worth the money that we paid for which I thought was quite high. The breakfast was ok, the customer service was ok.
