More or less fine ...

I checked in quite late due to an extended day filming.

I was given a disabled room in a block quite some way from reception. The room itself was fine but the toilet layout with lowered sink and shower not very convenient to a 6' chap. Also there was no bedside table. Otherwise fine. The restaurant was quite quiet the next morning for breakfast, which was good by the way, but would indicate that perhaps the hotel was not that busy. My question would be, if not too busy why not place customers into more appropriate accommodation?

One night was enough

This hotel is in a great location and the main building looks impressive.

The surrounds are all you could hope for if looking for a short get away. That all changes when you go inside. It's in need of some serious TLC. All rooms hot and stuffy. The so called superior bedroom was small and dated with only one small window and no view. Staff appeared thin on the ground and there was no hotel feel, more like a hostel. Having said that the pool area was good and we had a very good breakfast albeit in a shabby hot and dusty old converted courtyard. We did not pay the earth for our room so I suppose you get what you pay for.
