Excellent all round

Really pleased to have found this excellent place to stay when we are visiting the Bristol area.

Fantastic value for money. Superior room was lovely - spacious, airy and clean with modern large bathroom and a flat screen TV. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced. Entertainment in the bar as it was a Saturday night was an unexpected bonus. We enjoyed the singer very much.

It was 'ok' - you get what you pay for - cheap as chips (unless the chef is stressed)

It was an ok visit for two nights with Western-Super-Mare up the road.

I wouldn't stay here for longer than that. The room was nice but the site do not supply a cot for children due to 'Health and Safety'(?!?) so our 4 year old daughter had to sleep on a mattress on the floor in our bedroom. The room lacked air conditioning so was very hot during the night. The breakfast was 'ok'. The chef limits what he is willing to do if he is 'busy' (meaning when he has only 4 tables to serve). The customer service was variable, the girl at breakfast on day two was very nice and helped a lot. So basically, as long as you bring your own cot and have your own fan and you don't stress the chef out too much....you'll be fine!
