Mattresses need updating
I only stayed one night.
The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. The room was clean apart from an iron mark on the carpet. I had no phone service in my room and couldn't get the Wifi to work. I had a twin room with my daughter and my bed was extremely uncomfortable, it felt like the springs in the upper part of the mattress had gone.
Breakfast was lovely and very accommodating, I'm Coeliac and the chef had gluten free bread so I was able to take advantage of a gluten free cooked breakfast.
Set on the grounds of a golf club it was extremely peaceful. The room was also very cool compared to the 29 degree heat outside, so that was also very welcomed!
Often stay in Premier Inns but this was probably better and better value for money.
Did not use restaurant facilities so cannot comment on that. One of the few hotels that actually don't take your towel away when you leave it on the towel rail. Bed comfortable (after we asked for a duvet "topper") and room size was good. Also two chairs for us to sit on unlike some hotels. Would definitely stay there again if in the area. Walls seemed quite thick so we were not woken up by the neighbours. Parking free and easy, 10 minutes drive to Boston town centre. Fan provided (without asking) for warm weather no problems checking in or out.
