I wish to provide some feedback on my stay on Friday the 6th of March.
This was my third stay at the R&F, and the previous two had been very pleasant. On Friday however I was given room 206. While adequate in size, the noise from the lift disturbed myself and my partner late into the night and again at 05-30 in the morning and thereafter from about 08-00. We were also disturbed by people using the lift, who seemed to have no concern for anyone else in the area. It seemed that they had to talk at the tops of their voices while either awaiting or exiting the lift. Whoever designed a room where the bed head is placed against the wall of a lift shaft, does not merit the title of designer. To add to this, the television in the room failed at 22-00 and nothing I could do would make it come back on. I did not report it until the morning as we were already in bed. All in all, this was a disappointing stay, with the additional annoyance in the morning when the receptionist could not tell us the price of breakfast or offer a menu. We ate elsewhere. W J Bowdren
The hotel was wonderful.
All of the staff were so friendly and gave excellent service. The food served for dinner in the Fortescue was superb and the breakfast was perfect. I shall certainly return here. Thank you so much.
