4Self Classified Guest House Ratings explained
3 Wain-A-Long Road, , , Salisbury, SP1 1LJ
A warm, welcoming, elegant Edwardian guest house in landscaped garden holding a 4 Star Silver Award and Breakfast Award issued by Visit England. Quietly situated yet only ten minutes stroll from Salisbury city centre, and Cathedral. It is set in half an acre of landscaped gardens. Salisbury is an ancient cathedral city. Its history goes back over a thousand years and its origins can be traced thousands of years further back. Fantastically superior quality guest house!
This guest house is one of the best we have stayed in. The standard of the decor is excellent, the beds are amazing and very beautifully dressed. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and it's a quiet and peaceful place to lay your head at the end of a busy day.

Home form home
I arrived late as I had to travel from Manchester to Salisbury after a full day's work. The room was welcoming and pleasant. I was able to make a very refreshing large mug of tea and I slept very well in the comfortable room in this quiet location.
Karen and Mark were very helpful the next day in helping me to find my way to the school I was visiting. After a delicious breakfast.
Booking and paying for the room was very easy.
I was pleased to have free and efficient Wifi.

A Pleasant City Break in Salisbury
My wife and I chose to spend 3 days in Salisbury for a short holiday. We found Rokeby guest house to be ideal if you don't mind a ten minute walk into the City Centre. Rokeby Guest House is very clean and the staff are extremely helpful and polite. The off-road parking is a major plus too. I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending to a friend. One slight criticism is road noise if you are at the front of the house, but this is only a problem with the window open.
