Great Customer Service
We have now used this hotel on two separate occasions and have just booked the third. The standard of the room, the fixtures and fittings, bath towels and bed linen etc is of a high standard and an all round great value place to stay. Toilet and shower cubicles have always been clean and fresh and no hair in the plug holes nor scaling and stains in the toilet pan ( My pet hate - so hats off to the housekeepers and their management who have provided them with a good de scaling product and time enough to do a good job )
The staff have always been very helpful and the choice of breakfast and standard of cooking also very good and well presented.

Comfortable overnight stay
Stayed in one of the'Superior' rooms for which you pay a bit extra. Bed was very comfortable and the hot water was instant and good shower - all very important to me. Cracked basin in Room 11 but doubtless that will be attended to. Food in the evening was good and nicely presented, however I am always slightly disappointed when the headline price needs extra vegetables or potatoes at an extra price to fill the plate! Breakfast again superior with both porridge and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on the menu. On the day I was there the service at breakfast was on the slow side but I was in no hurry. Would definitely stay again

Nice tidy place to stay
Room is in an accommodation block behind the main hotel. To access the dining room and bar you have to walk outside through the yard area. Staff are all friendly, rooms are clean and nothing is too much trouble. Asked for a kipper for breakfast as fancied a change, no kippers but was offered smoked haddock straight away.
