Reviews - The Old Joinery

4Swaklasifikasi Bed and Breakfast Ratings explained
Downside, 8 Main Road, Cherhill, Calne, SN11 8UU
The Old Joinery is a converted barn style building, set back from the main house on the outskirts of the village of Cherhill. Set within the conservation area surrounded by open countryside with views up to the famous Cherhill White Horse and Ancient Monument. Crop circles are often discovered here. We offer single, double, twin and super king beds within luxury bedrooms with top quality bedding and accessories. Our bathrooms are stylish with complimentary toiletries from The White Company. All rooms have Sony flat screen Freeview TV’s with a built in DVD/CD player, WiFi, Hairdryer, Hospitality Tray and many other extra’s. Our double room is on the ground floor and we offer off street parking. There is a guest living room with leather sofas, books and games and a small courtyard garden for the sole use of our guests. We encourage families, cyclists and walkers and can offer a drying room and facilities to clean and store bikes securely. There is a full breakfast menu including fresh fruits, home made preserves and an AGA cooked breakfast. We always use good quality local produce and are happy to cater for vegetarians. The village of Cherhill is a lovely location, ideally set for walking, cycling and sight-seeing. We are only 5 minutes from the World Heritage sites of Avebury, Silbury Hill and the West Kennett Long Barrow and also Bowood Country House and Gardens. The typically English market town of Marlborough with its good shopping and fine restaurants is only 15 minutes away, as is The Caen Hill Flight of Locks in the market town of Devizes. We are also ideally located to visit the beautiful Georgian city of Bath. Salisbury, Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park can also be reached within an hour. We have a Village Pub serving food all day and a lovely Village Café serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, both within easy walking distance. We are family run. Guests will be met with a cup of tea and slice of homemade cake.

Ideal for a couples weekend retreat.
Very cosy and friendly run B&B with a touch of luxury. Yummy home cooked breakfast in the lovely conservatory breakfast room, which overlooks the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.
I was in the area on business, but it would be a lovely place for a quiet weekend away. Probably more suited to couples rather than a family.

Small B and B
I had the smallest room (cheapest). no desk / chair although there is a communal lounge area downstairs for business travellers to use their laptops. Breakfast is freshly cooked with quality ingredients. Pub over the road serves food - so no need to drive to get an evening meal.
