Friendly staff.

The room was above the kitchen so a bit noisy and the room was filled w cooking smells. The thermostat on the shower didn't really work properly.

Lovely hotel

Very nice, friendly hotel.

Arrived late so missed evening meal but staff very welcoming. Room a little tired bed in particular but very clean and quiet. Breakfast excellent and again staff very friendly. I would stay again, no question.

Excellent Accommodation

The hotel were very obliging having the rooms ready for our arrival and allowing us to check in early.

They were more than happy to arrange us some lunch on short notice which came in record time and was excellent. The breakfast had everything to choose from, was plentiful, and well cooked. The staff were all helpful and friendly and we would certainly recommend it to anyone. Our many thanks to them for a wonderful stay.

Excellent food, dark gloomy room

The menu was bursting with variety and had a very strong local flavour.

The two courses I had were very tasty and well presented. I know this is an old building but my room in the eaves of the main building was dark and gloomy even on a bright evening, the bathroom had no window for natural light and I was forever stooping so as not to bang my head on the sloping ceilings!
