lovely pub
Lovely old county pub with very friendly, helpful staff. Lovely room which was clean and comfortable. Great choice of food which was delicious and the beer was even better. Would definitely go back and recommend to all, especially real ale drinkers.

Good food, great staff.
Very nice pub with excellent food and a very friendly welcome. Shame about the rooms. While they are clean and tidy the decoration and general wear could do with some attention. Still it was a nice stay and I would book again.

The décor of the rooms was tired and although there were net curtains in the bathroom there was no blind/curtain for privacy at night. The beds were comfortable. The food was expensive for what it was: the chorizo pasta was £10.50 and we had to ask to have chorizo put in it! The car park was very spacious.

Good value
Charming old b & b. Room was clean and neat. Restaurant food was excellent. Address listed for this b & b made it hard to find. Address should be more complete.

very helpful staff
Overall a lovely stay at reasonable rates. Room a bit tired but fully clean. Staff very friendly and helpful the DVDs to borrow was a nice touch. Food for breakfast freshly cooked and very tasty. Well worth it for the night we stayed before a wedding.
