3AA Assessed Guest Accommodation Ratings explained
33 MILFORD STREET , Salisbury, SP1 2AP
Citylodge Salisbury occupies a 15th century Merchant House with a wealth of beams, features and history.

The hotel has 25 newly refurbished bedrooms, all featuring en suite bathrooms with bath and power shower. The hotel is completely non-smoking.

All rooms have flat screen TVs with 33 free digital TV and radio channels and free Wi-Fi internet access.

We have 8 ground floor bedrooms and all bedrooms have new Hypnos beds and bespoke walnut furniture; indeed a tranquil haven in the centre of a vibrant city. At the weekends some of the rooms at the front of the hotel may be noisy, although they have secondary glazing and air conditioning. Quiet rooms are available at the rear of the hotel.

The lodge doesn't offer breakfast, lunch or dinner.  However, there are many cafes, bars and restaurants nearby.

Very nice but
I was booked into the Churchill suite and found it really nice. There's a lounge area with tv, a nice bedroom with comfy bed, large bathroom with walk in shower, great shower pressure. Air con in lounge and bedroom was very welcome in the Wiltshire heat. Desk staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. All in all a pleasant stay but I thought a little overpriced with the lack of breakfast. I would stay there again though.

Poor facilities
Air con did not work in room 20 on one of the hotter days, fan provided, first broke, second was very small. Room was tiny and no lift available for heavy suitcase

Walking Distance from Cathedral
Accommodation through Lat Rooms.com and therefore excellent value for money as greatly reduced tariff. Attic room with sloping ceiling, small but comfortable. A bit cramped for more than 1 person and not for a six footer. The wall TV blocked the use of the full length mirror. Very comfortable double bed with good duvet and good pillows. Small ensuite bathroom with shower over bath and small sink. Attic window, thick curtains. Luggage storage room for pre Check-In and post Check-Out.

not a pleasant experience
Very noisy accommodation due to it sitting opposite a nightclub and numerous bars and kebab shops. Very small and sunken mattress and pipework making one hell of a racket when toilets were flushed in the rooms above. Not a pleasant experience generally. Avoid the churchill suite if you can.
