poor value for money
My wife and I stayed two nights at the Bath House hotel , I personally thought it was expensive and expected a five star hotel , I am sorry it was very poor.
The room was clean but very basic , we had a meal on the first night in the restaurant , the waiters and bar staff were very good and very helpful but the food was basic bar meal food at twice the price and we were very disappointed , the morning breakfast was average . During the early hours of Sunday morning , 3.30 am , the fire alarm went off and although it turned out to be a false alarm it took a member of staff about 15 minutes to isolate the alarm and by the time the guests had all congregated outside at the front of the building and then returned to their rooms any hope of a good nights sleep had gone. This was not a pleasant experience and we will not be returning to this accommodation.
I was offered breakfast early on request.
However on the morning having been advised I would be able to the door was locked I didn't get any breakfast at all. I had to get someone to try and get the TV to work twice. Eventually that worked. The toilet handle broke. The ham egg and chips was average and expensive. The service was not consistent the waiter said he'd take my order outside and would return he never did.
