South Western is a wonderful Victorian Pub with rooms situated in a quintessential English village in the heart of rural Wiltshire and serving traditional pub food.
The South Western was one of two Railway hotels built following the construction of the London and South Western Railway through Tisbury in 1859. The South Western was built in 1884 to provide accommodation for travellers using the line and was particularly helpful to Shaftesbury people. We are situated next to the Tisbury main line train station from Waterloo to Exeter. There are five boutique en-suite bedrooms with wifi, TV and tea & coffee facilities.
We offer traditional pub food seven days a week, from breakfast in the morning, to lunches & evening dinner with a traditional roast every Sunday from 12.00pm til 3 pm.
There is live sport everyday on our plasma screen. Free wifi is also available.
A great selection of draught beers, ales & ciders, from Carlsberg, Carling, Stella, Doombar, Youngs, Thatchers, Carling Cider, Blackthorn. Coffee & Tea . A great beer garden for the summer which holds BBQs every Saturday.
There is also a function room with free hire which will hold up to 50 people for small parties,meetings and conferences.
